Day 2: Taming & Petting Baby Iguana 🦎

I was so confused watching all the videos on YouTube of people grabbing their baby iguanas by force and petting them especially since they all seemed so aggressive. I decided I was going to try the let her come to me method and if that didn’t work I would grab her. Luckily it worked from day 1. She has never tried to bite or tail whip me. This morning while petting her I moved her from one place to another. She is starting to trust me.

Backstory: rescued a baby iguana about 3 months ago, found it in a pool. For the first two month I just left her alone, only going in to change food and water daily. Last eeek I started hand feeding and she accepted on the first try. Two days ago I tried petting her and she let me. This is day two of petting my baby iguana.
