Sago Dessert with Green Tea and Gula Melaka
西米甜品配绿茶和椰糖

Ingredients 食材

Sago - 100g
西米 - 100 克
Water - 850ml
水 - 850 毫升
Coconut Milk - 120ml
椰奶 - 120 毫升
Salt - ¼ teaspoon
盐 - ¼ 茶匙

Green Tea Layer 绿茶层

Sago (cooked) - 50g
西米(熟) - 50 克
Green Tea - 80ml
绿茶 - 80 毫升

Gula Melaka Layer 椰糖层
-----
Sago (cooked) - 50g
西米(熟) - 50 克
Gula Melaka/Palm Sugar - 50g, chopped
椰糖 - 50 克, 切碎
Pandan Leaves - 3 stalks
香兰叶 - 3 茎
Water - 70ml
水 - 70 毫升

Directions 说明

1.Boil a pot of water, add the sago.
烧开一锅水, 加入西米。
2.Cook for 10 minutes, stir occasionally.
煮10分钟, 偶尔搅拌。
3.Turn off the flame, let it sit for 15 minutes with the lid.
熄火, 盖上盖子静置15分钟。
4.Transfer the cooked sago to cold water and drain it.
将煮好的西米放入冷水中, 沥干。
5.Divide it into 2 portions.
分成2份。
6.Prepare a pot of water, add the gula melaka and pandan leaves.
准备一锅水, 加入椰糖和香兰叶。
7.Stir till the gula melaka dissolved.

8.Turn off the flame.
熄火。
9.Let it sit to cool and sieve it.
静置冷却并过筛。
10.Add the green tea to the cooked sago, mix well.

11.Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

12.Add the gula melaka syrup to the cooked sago, mix well.

13.Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

14.Prepare the coconut milk in a pot, add the salt.

15.Stir till boiled.

16.Turn off the flame, set it aside.
熄火, 搁置备用。
17.Prepare a spoonful of Green Tea Sago in a bowl.
在碗中准备一勺绿茶西米。
18.Add a spoonful of Gula Melaka Sago.
加入一勺椰糖西米。
19.Add some coconut milk and gula melaka syrup.
加入一些椰奶和椰糖糖浆。
20.Ready to serve.
即可食用。
