John Davies - Walk Right Back

Week 66 of Sunday Covers is the Everly Brothers classic Walk Right Back. It was written by Sonny Curtis who was a member of Buddy Holly's backing band the Crickets. He tells the story of how he pitched the song to them with only one verse written. They were interested so he said he would write another verse. When he sent the second verse to them he had a message back to say they had already recorded it with the one verse and that version became a hit. This version has the two verses.
