End of pen-based marking: A look behind the scenes

Описание к видео End of pen-based marking: A look behind the scenes

Each year, around 40,000 Primary 6 students sit for the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE). That translates to about 455,000 answer scripts. From 2022, all PSLE subjects will be marked on computer screens. Unlike traditional pen-based marking, candidates’ hardcopy scripts are digitised after the examinations.

As a tribute to those who have contributed to the national marking exercise, the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) has created this video, which offers a rare look behind the scenes of the pen-based marking.
