"Pure Meditation" by Electric Egypt, taken from the album 'Impressions Of The Inexpressible Invisible', released on the Japanese based label Moamoo, [ARTMOA-012]. 2010.
Electric Egypt:
I know very little about Electric Egypt except that he lives somewhere way out in Australia, has been included in mixes on Hobbsy's prime-time radio slot and that he has just released this quite remarkable new genre defying album. Leaving no stone unturned, it flows continuously through a multitude of styles and tempos. Definitely a winning kick start into the New Year :))

Moamoo:
Tokyo label moamoo was established in the record company Art Union in 2005, set up by Tomohiro Yanagisawa and pursing the ∞ sound with imaginative factor.

Oi get yr mittens warmed up on this hot new CD by Electric Egypt, a talented Aussie b-boy/downtempo artist who blends smooth instrumental-hop, psychedelic /ambient musics & post-dubstep shapes into a chilled, ever-evolving audio casserole. It's hard to stamp this release with a distinct style, for instance there's a stunning organic percussive track called 'Kundalini' three tracks in that's been blessed by Ms Mary of Hobbsville, loads o' choice samples, swathes of absorbing, blissed soundscapery, top drawer atmospherics, hazy, soulful vocals & some real woozy cinematic moods explored. Quite a spiritual journey is 'Impressions Of The Inexpressible Invisible ', hosted by the fine Japanese imprint Moamoo / Sonic Art Union.
