Thermal Drone Confirms Expanding Geothermal Area Under Iceland's Hottest Highway

What has the recent steam explosion have to do with Iceland's hottest highway where geothermal energy has been changing the landscape the last 18 months? I don't have all the answers but I do have the thermal footage to keep the u story going and here we have clips from my thermal scan number 6. This was however tricky this time due to heavy wind and I'm reluctant to make the very expensive thermal drone get the same treatment as my DJI drone that I use for regular videos. I therefore only scanned the upper are only briefly this time but enough to detect the changes, and I didn't even need a thermal drone to see the new vents that weren't there during my scan in January this year. But my the conclusion is simple, the new geothermal area is growing even more but I need to find time to make a more detailed map from all my tours so far. Scientist remain reluctant to explain what's causing this other than general changes, but the heat source is of course magma and Hengill is a living volcano that will erupt again, it's just a matter of time.
