Rhonda Ross came to her mother's rescue on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, when she stood by her mom's side to sing a song they wrote together, "Count On Me" from Diana Ross' album, THANK YOU. The audience in the Wynn Encore Theater on the fabulous Las Vegas Strip, was instantly touched by the bond of love shown between mother and daughter. Diana Ross had earlier told the crowd that she was suffering from "Vegas Throat" while performing that evening. And it was noticeable but not distracting. Ever the trooper, Diana Ross gamely continued her show and when it came to the segment of singing songs from her new album. She asked for her daughter, Rhonda, to come to the stage and help her sing it. And, boy, did she ever. A few weeks earlier, Rhonda had joined the stage with her mom and her sister, Tracee Ellis Ross and their performance of "Count Of Me" was the highlight of Diana Ross' appearance at the famed Radio City Music Hall in New York City. This night, history repeated itself.
