What began as an attempt to source just a few issues of this title ended up with my doing a deep dive into the history of the title and coming to realise that it was a great example of how the Marvel UK writers could take a toy line premise and expand its back story to create a universe around the toys. Whilst Spider-Man reprints were a big part of the comic, it was the Zoids strip that was new whilst respecting the toy line. It was a formula that worked well for the Transformers UK comic of course, and the Zoids story also continues to this day...
