Back in Sept 2015 I wanted to learn how to play If 6 was 9 by the Jimi Hendrix Experience authentically for a Jimi Hendrix Tribute Show. But apart one heavy metal dude who had it all wrong, there was nothing here on YouTube. So after studying it extensively I've put together this lesson.

The first thing you should do is tune down to Eb, as that's the key of Hendrix's original recording.
