The Chatacabra from Monster Hunter Wilds has arrived, and it’s just as grotesque as you’d expect. In this video, I take on the challenge of sculpting this new Wilds beast from scratch, complete with spikes, slime, and a sculpting process that quickly spirals into chaos. Spoiler: Things do not go according to plan.

There were mistakes. There were regrets. There was also a brief moment where my entire sculpture collapsed because I removed a single wire. But after hours of layering clay, battling textures, and a minor existential crisis, I finally brought this amphibious nightmare to life. Join me as I suffer through the sculpting process, experiment with new techniques, and try to make Monster Hunter Wilds’ Chatacabra look as terrifying as possible.
