This adventure took you to a beautiful Androhibe Village in Madagascar in March 2024. Nestled on the northwest coast, near the Mozambique Channel, the village offered a glimpse into a unique way of life.

While the village thrives 27 kilometers from the ocean, embracing a sustainable lifestyle with clever solar panels, the real treasure lies in its people. Despite a general preference for privacy, the villagers here are incredibly welcoming! The guide was pleasantly surprised by the warm smiles and openness Alexey received while filming. Perhaps a friendly wave goes a long way in breaking the ice!

The Malagasy language fills the air, with French as a handy second option for communication. The village boasts a vibrant craft scene, with skilled artisans weaving beautiful mats and baskets from palm leaves. Cattle breeding is another cornerstone of their livelihood, with the impressive Zebu buffalo providing both food and transportation power.

Chickens happily roam the village, adding to the charm.
