Abbas Mustan- There were times when the producers were concerned about spending more money flying in the body double for the stunts, Akshay volunteered to perform the stunt himself and asked the producers to give him the money instead. As directors, we were happy that we would be able to capture the hero who was doing the stunt himself, he did the stunt smoothly without any hassle, asked the producers for the money, and distributed the money to lightmen, spot boys, or technicians. He used to do the stunt without cables too, in those days there were not many safety measures.
