This week, Mystery Encoder and his team is BACK!! They've finally released a method to mod your iiRcade Golds and gen 1 iiRcades through a soft mod. Let's do some LIVE MODDING to test it out.

iiRcade Gold install method instructions

ATTENTION GOLD CABINET OWNERS - THIS IS YOUR METHOD TO INSTALL GAMES/MAME ROMS.
Updated a bit since zoltan/ben did some testing and made sure app deployment worked properly...
It now attempts to detect java being installed 4 different ways, make sure you have the latest installed if you're trying to deploy apps.
I had to fix some internal web server issue with the deployment of the actual files themselves to be installed but that seems to be resolved.
Simple guide:
1. Setup the network (Setup wifi hotspot, click network setup button in app)
2. Package whatever game you want using the Choose new Package (has to be a pre-packaged iircade game that gen1 users would put in iiGames folder Packs R Us or archive.org - search iircade)
3. Device ID can be obtained from settings system info, just plug in whatever your device id is.
4. App ID can be random but must be numeric.
5. Click start, and connect your cabinet to your wifi hotspot network
6. Click send request, watch your gold or gen1 cabinet start installing whatever app you chose from "Choose New package".
7. Profit, you can now install anything gen1 users could (aside from custom mame cfgs) on your gold cabinet.
