O colonialismo não é a causa da pobreza na África hoje.

Aprendemos nas escolas e faculdades que a causa da pobreza na África está relacionada ao colonialismo e à escravidão de sua população durante séculos. Mas o que afeta hoje o crescimento das nações africanas e impacta a pobreza atual está muito mais relacionado às políticas africanas adotadas desde que suas nações se tornaram independentes.
