Change priority settings to help fix errors & crashes in CyberLink PowerDirector. If you experience problems in PowerDirector changing the settings under the processes section of the windows task manager may help with freezes, rendering, lag, sync, shut downs, and other issues.

Open notepad
Copy the following- C:\WINDOWS\System32\cmd.exe /c start "runhigh" /high "%1""C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector13\PDR13.exe
Paste it into Notepad
File
Save As
File Name = PDR13.bat
Save As Type = All files
