Maytag Washer Model 3000 MHWE300VW12 Bearing Replacement

I replaced the bearings and seal in the Maytag washer. Had no clue what I was doing. Watched a bunch of videos. I made the repair. I had to wait two days for a new seal. The total time out of a washer is one week. But the results were great. Unfortunately, the bearings I bought lasted three weeks. Cheapos. I bought new bearings and did the job again in 3 hours round trip. Anyway, this video is me stumbling through the learning process.

Update: I received several comments about 'how did I find the bearings?'
I searched for Maytag MHWE300VW12 bearings. Several sites let me find the correct bearings.

manualslib.com or similar - allowed me to find details on the part numbers I needed.
repairclinic.com or similar - allowed me to search by model number and they list parts in stock.

From there I found the part number AND new part numbers that replaced the old part number. For example:
Part number: W10253866, WH45X10071, W10772618, W10253864 and W10772617.
Replacement old code: 285983, 8181666, PS11703209, W10253856, 168849, 280132, 285984, 8181912, 8182284, PS11703208, W10253855, AH1021620, EA1021620, PS1021620.

From there, I used the old and new code to search repairclinic.com, amazon.com, and ebay.com. I would recommend getting a stainless steel bearing made in Japan or Germany with a high bearing count and precision.

What I wrote in my notes is: Bearing kit W10253866, W10253856 which I recall is the old number and new number.

Or as I said, check Amazon or eBay. One Chinese brand that I paid $29 for failed twice. Which means I repeated that video three times :)
