Fly Fishing On My Best Day Ever!, "THE TUG IS THE DRUG!!", Aug. 2020

What more can I say about the Upper Delaware River and it's branches that I haven't already said? I've been fly fishing for 45+ years and it's a big statement for me to say, "My best day ever", but it was. Landing 4 big boy 20 inchers, plus another 4-5 close to 20" that got off, I'm pretty sure I'll never repeat that. So much drama today, all the way up to the last fish netted. Kept the same fly combination all day, the Globug up top, then my Isonychia (AKA. Scott's Big Brown Nymph), then the Pheasant Tail. And how "bout that Hail Mary Brownie!? Let's just say, divine intervention, HA!
