Coventry University’s National Transport Design Centre, part of the research Centre for Future Transport and Cities, has played a crucial role in shaping the design of the customer experience on offer at Air One – the world’s first Urban-Air Port for electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOLs). Air One could host things like flying taxis and autonomous cargo drones in the future, and is being unveiled in Coventry city centre as a demonstration of the potential of future advanced air mobility.
