In this News Extra: Special Edition, we revisit a critical regional mission led by the Barbados Defence Force Coast Guard in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.

In September 2024, the BDF Coast Guard deployed to several hurricane-affected islands — including Grenada, Union Island, Carriacou, and St. Vincent — to deliver relief supplies and transport Regional Security System (RSS) troops home from Saint Lucia.
