Zeynab Moosavi discusses Using WebQuests in An Online Course Design For Language Learning

In this presentation, I will show how English language teachers can engage students in their online courses using WebQuests. Firstly, I will give general information about WebQuests and then focus on their structure and importance. I also will present a sample of an online course designed for EFL students with the use of WebQuests.

There are 26 speakers from 13 countries at the 11th annual MMVC22. The virtual conference will take place from August 5-7, 2022. The purpose of the conference is for educators to engage in learning best practices and challenges involved in teaching and learning face-to-face and online (blended and fully online learning) using Moodle and other technologies. The theme of MMVC22 is teaching and learning with and without technology.

MMVC22 will take place on a Moodle site. Enroll in MMVC22 Moodle site to get access to the live sessions, content before and after the conference, your badges and final certificate for reflecting and presenting here https://integrating-technology.org/en...

The presenters of MMVC22 are educators who use technology face-to-face, fully online or in blended learning courses. You can access the presentations for MMVC22 and the content in the courseware of MMVC22 conference area.

Moodle is an amazing Learning Management System (LMS). You can save time by recycling Moodle courses and using them over and over again. You can backup, import, restore, and reset the courses in a few easy steps.

Moodle has plugins that enable teachers to support learner autonomy. Teachers can facilitate learning. Learners can experience learning as they engage with the content, each other, and the teacher. I use Moodle for peer team-based learning. If you believe in learner autonomy, take the free courses on Moodle for Teachers.

Here’s a bit about me. I've been teaching in the K-12 sector with the Internet in blended learning formats since 1993. I am grateful to my students for trusting me to try things out, so I can learn, improve, and share my knowledge and skills with other teachers. I would not be where I am today without you guys.

I have been working as an admin of Moodle sites and teaching online with Moodle since 2003. Moodle has changed quite a bit in the past 17 years, but because I am constantly upgrading sites to the latest Moodle versions and teaching online with Moodle, I get a lot of hands-on practice. I'd like to share that knowledge with you.
