Oasis descended upon Croke Park on Saturday night for a biblical performance of some of their top hits.

More than 80,000 'mad fer it' fans will attend each concert on Saturday and Sunday (August 16 and 17), which have been marked by the band's now traditional drone show above the venue ahead of this weekend's festivities.

The set drew some sweet moments, like when Liam Gallagher dedicated Stand By Me to his mother Peggy.

Some celebrities were in attendance at the show, with Peter Crouch even catching a last minute flight to see Oasis perform at Croke Park.
