Baucher bit has rings in a shape of a small "b", where the reins are attached to the belly of the letter, and bit straps are fixed to the additional ring in the upper part. This construction makes the bit lay stable in the mouth. While taking the contact, the extended attachments of the cheek pieces create a small lever, transferring some pressure to the horse's poll. This bit is recommended for horses with a tendency to lean excessively on the bit or for horses that like to go above the bit.
