Fine Art Architecture Photography - Rolex Learning Center EPFL Lausanne

From a photographic point of view, with many buildings you are done after around an hour. Not so with this one.

Lines and shapes, curved ceilings and openings to the sky, the interplay between light and shadow... the Rolex Learning Center at EPFL Lausanne is truly unique architecture.

I couldn't miss that on a two-day visit to Lausanne and spent one extended morning exploring and taking architectural photos. I even had to force myself to stop when lunch time was over and my stomach was complaining more and more.

As with the Vitra Campus (    • Fine Art Architecture Photography wit...   ), the lockdown was an advantage because there were only a few people around the building - which I often like for architecture photography - and I was able to take photos and film almost undisturbed (apart from an overzealous security).
