What is the difference between all these types of leather and which is better for your project

Описание к видео What is the difference between all these types of leather and which is better for your project

In this video I will explain some of the leather related terms that I, and other leather crafters often use. People have been making animal hides into leather for thousands of years and during that time we have come up with quite a few variations on the theme. These are some of the different types of leather that I use and I talk about what makes them different. As well as what type of projects I use them for. I also explain a few of the terms leatherworkers use to describe leather like ounces, and hand.

I am always working on building something and try to average a YouTube video once a week. Most often leather work, but I have also posted videos on black smithing, knife making, casting, and even how I make soap. Be sure to Subscribe if you are interested in any of these topics, or just making things in general.
