Today Mojang released Minecraft 1.12 Pre-release 2 to fix a silly bug and introduce a new one. Also, a new, super-hard advancement challenge. #minecraftemployee

If you want to play this pre-release, choose the "Snapshots" profile in your launcher. Keep in mind that snapshots are unstable - they can break your world if you are unlucky - keep backups!

Changes in this version:
Fixed a crash when crafting without accessing the recipe book first
Hidden "How did we get here?" advancement
Awarded when having every status effect at the same time: Speed, slowness, strength, jump boost, regeneration, fire resistance, water breathing, invisibility, night vision, weakness, poison, wither, haste, mining fatigue, levitation, glowing, absorption, hunger, nausea
Awards 100 XP
Fixed items still being placed in the crafting grid after one stack has reached the maximum stack size, invalidating recipe and deleting items
Fixed the recipe book GUI being placed incorrectly when resizing the window to show/not show overlapping recipe book
Fixed the console getting spammed with command logging even after sendCommandFeedback, commandBlockOutput and logAdminCommands turned off
Broke relative coordinates in /execute commands
