Just a quickie: I installed a new bridge on my trusty old Fender Jazz Bass. The Gotoh 201B-4 with brass saddles just fits without any modification and gives you more mass than the old Fender bridge.

I feel like the tone has more authority and a little longer sustain now. I also installed it on a cheap Squier Fretless Jazz Bass, that also had some sound benefit from the new bridge.
