Is the Community Toxic? I Don't Think So | Why antiMLM started "trending" and why some 'left'

#antimlm
Hey beautiful people. I recorded this last weekend and contemplated uploading it this week. I decided to have this conversation with my viewers because I do feel like much of the complaints I've read and heard have been about feeling's not being validated or seemingly heard.

While I have felt similar feelings as the viewers, I also recognize, hear, and understand the opinions and stance of content creators that have decided to get away from the "anti" word of what being opposed to MLMs entails.

(the TL;DW timestamps are listed below)

I don't think anyone's expected to be perfect in any community. My goal moving forward is that we, the anti-MLM community, continue to build UP our individual strengths, support each other's weaknesses with kindness, and work cohesively for the overarching goal of the movement.

**I encourage you to watch the whole video,  but if you want to jump forward,  here are timestamps of key points:

intro (please watch)

3:20 acknowledging the viewers frustration of what had and hadn't been said regarding the drama

4:45 the community is not toxic, toxic definitions,  how it does (and does not) relate to anti-MLM

8:03 growth of anti-MLM community on social media and YouTube... the rise and morphing if REACT! videos

11:57 I predicted this in the spring,  talk about it in my last GRWM

15:18 What anti-MLM YouTube algorithm trends I DIDN'T do for my channel,  and why my channel didn't grow like others... and why I don't care!

18:58  Diversity in anti-MLM is key for positivity in the community

20:04 Disagreeing with some content creators; it's not about uploading other content, just do it, and more validation of feelings from viewers

23:36 pigeonholed and pressured: it's not anti-MLM that's toxic,  it's the MLMs that are noxious

26:45 PSA: how I feel we ought to treat each other, keeping drama private, red flags to look out for in the future.

31:00 final thoughts on what I feel nourishes a good, positive, well-rounded community.

Let's be kind in the comments.

Thank you for watching, XO
