1 Samuel 16: Why did God Send an EVIL SPIRIT on Saul?!

To recap the bible story of 1 Samuel chapter 16 a "spirit" from the Lord comes on David and and an "evil spirit" (or distressing spirit) comes upon on Saul. In this video I explore why that is and what the Old Testament means by evil spirits. Is it something natural we can see, or some sort of invisible power? In this video we look at Evil Spirits in 1 Samuel 16 1-13 and 14-23.

People want to know where is lucifer in the bible? And sometimes this evil spirit gets viewed as the Devil. But is that the case? Spirit language is tricky, we know phrases like "God does not give us a spirit of fear". But what does it mean when God sends an evil spirit on people like Saul?
