The Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Devon is one of the richest fishing grounds in the British Isles, it's a veritable playground for the angler and as such it's no wonder Robbie Northman makes the journey over there annually from his Norfolk home. The biggest draw for Robbie, being a lure fishing fanatic, is the population of incredibly striking wrasse that call the rocky landscape their home. Hard hitting, and equally hard fighting, they are an incredible sport fish that really get the heart racing, combined with the stunning coastal scenery there's very little to top a day on the rocks targeting wrasse.

Being so far from home, Robbie likes to spend a couple of days fishing, and camps locally in between. During the evening he loves nothing more than catching a few mackerel or a bass to cook up straight from the sea before getting back to wrasse fishing the following day.
