武満徹企画『今日の音楽～20年目の休止符～』Music Today ~Resting for the 20th year~

1992年、武満徹氏が1973年より続けてきた音楽祭「今日の音楽 ~Music Today~」の最終回の映像です。1991年の回の演奏も混ざっているようです。
内外のさまざまな作曲家の曲の演奏映像と共に、ところどころ武満氏と当時の西武の総裁であり詩人でもあり、この音楽祭のスポンサーでもあった堤清二氏（筆名、辻井喬《つじいたかし》）との対話がおり挟まれていたり、最後に武満氏のピアノ独奏のシーンがあったりと、興味深い映像です。

演奏はポール・クロスリー・木村かをり(ピアノ)、オリヴァー・ナッセン、岩城宏之（指揮）、ロンドンシンフォニエッタなどです。

This is a video of the final performance of "Music Today" a music festival Tōru Takemitsu has been holding since 1973.There seems to be a mix of performances from the 1991 times.
Along with the performance of music by various composers from Japan and abroad, there are some interesting scenes such as a dialogue with Seiji Tsutsumi, the poet, president of Seibu at the time, and sponsor of the festival, and Takemitsu's piano solo at the end of the video.
Performers are such as Paul Crosley, Kaori Kimura (piano), Oliver Nassen, Hiroyuki Iwashiro (cond), and the London Sinfonietta.
