The Adidas Mutombo ll was always my favorite from the two signature sneakers Dikembe Mutombo had with Adidas back in the day, but I have to say I am a little bit disappointed with the execution of this retro now. The upper was all nubuck back in 93 and the shoe had a lot more flex and comfort, this retro is made predominately with synthetic leather which is very stiff and will take a long time to break in, in addition the padding inside is not all that great too. All in all, for $39 the shoe is OK, but I would not pay more for sure.
