20240102 Interview - Kashif Amin

This is the full interview of Kashif Amin from January 2024. He has lived in Woodinville since 2020 and is a neighborhood HOA president.

Following interviews, five councilmembers immediately (no deliberation or debate) selected another candidate from the four that interviewed. That person interviewed poorly and had lived in Woodinville for less than one year.

Was the other candidate's primary qualification that the other candidate lived in the same apartments as Mike Millman? She had regularly walked to/from council meetings with him. After appointment that planning commissioner resigned the position in June 2024 (5 months later) when they were moving away from Woodinville after a romantic breakup.

This created an opening in August 2024 for Kashif Amin to interview again.
