HERMES UNBOXING: VINTAGE KELLY 32 IN BOX BLUE WITH GOLD HARDWARE

Hi,

I bought this vintage Hermes Kelly 32 retourne in box leather in May 2022 from an auction. B in circle stamp means it is from 1972. I don't think a K32 is too big at all, in fact, I think it's the perfect size (I need to compare to a K28 to be sure of this).

I was shocked by the price that I ended up paying for this (such a steal)!!! I paid a little under ~$2,500 in total for the bag.

I have always been curious about box leather. The condition is ok for the age. There is some cracking and dryness in the leather. The hardware and handle seems to have been recently changed. I will take the bag to the spa eventually and report back. Also, box leather smells amazingly good! And I really like the patina it develops.
