Paragliding: Hike & Fly... with a special landing

Hiking and flying is a beautiful combination that often leads to new opportunities for growth as a paragliding pilot.

There were enough thermals around to allow me continue flying, but this time I decided to go for the challenge of landing in a tricky spot.
There were some wind gusts in front of the cabin and some strong thermal generating rocks + a (bonus) precipice behind it, so I had to adapt the landing approach and avoid any potential turbulences… and it paid off.

This type of challenges are part of a pilot’s continuous training and practice is the key for evolution.
