I was hesitant to post it because I wasn't feeling very confident about it. But, after some gentle encouragement from my voice teacher...here it is. This is 'On my Own' from Les Misérables.

Here's the deal: I have a big voice. And that scares me. There's a real fear of sounding out of control, shouty, ugly, etc. Oh, and let's not forget the lingering PTSD from being told to shut up and/or 'pull it back' during my years in student choirs (yay childhood trauma!).

Maybe I can finally start rewriting the narrative.
