Streets of Rage Remake 5.2 - Mania (as Elle) 1CC - Default Lives, SoR2 Route

Elle got hit with a massive damage nerf in 5.2, making her lower tier than she was previously. Her higher damage in 5.1 made it the high delay on her moves an acceptable risk and often a good payoff, but 5.2 strips her of most of her previous damage options. With the heavy nerfs to her basic combo, her blitzes, and her offensive special, throws are her fastest way of dealing damage. Her range is still very useful, especially on her jump kick or for initiating grabs. Grab chaining is pretty important in the later stages, where enemies won't attack for a brief period after you throw enemies, letting you grab enemies over and over. Elle is still playable, but she's really not worth the effort unless you want a challenge, and her gimmick of being able to use her full-screen special anywhere doesn't offset her moveset issues.
