This was a big year for Buick! They improved upon the 1953 styling and added a "panoramic" windshield, one which wrapped around the front of the car. One year later, almost all had incorporated wrap around windshields in their products. Now the overhead valve V8 was standard in all full sized Buicks...the last of the straight 8s were gone.
