Step by Step Yarn Dye Tutorial | Low Immersion Acid Dyes | PSYCHEDELIC AUTUMN

In this video I'll show you how to use Acid Dyes and the "low immersion" dye technique to dye yarn made from natural fibers (wool, silk, fur). I'll also walk through adapting to mistakes and challenges - things didn't go perfectly for me here, but I like to think that just makes it more realistic lol!

Materials Needed:
Knomad "Sand Dune" hank/skein (or any natural fiber skein)
Dharma Acid Dyes (Or any acid dye brand)
Citric Acid powder
Stainless steel pans
Heat Source (I use a turkey roaster)

"Sandstone" Dye recipe:
5 parts Dharma "Tangelo"
2 parts Dharma "Baby Blue Eyes"
1 part Dharma "Pecan Brown"
