Family Fun Day is coming Aug. 5, 2023 to Legion Field in Covington.
Everyone from Newton County is invited to attend the free event with activities for the whole family.

The Newton County Family Fun Day began in 2018 as a completely free event for everyone in Newton County to enjoy all the County has to offer and celebrate the spirit of #OneNewton. All municipalities participate and many organizations have vendor booths. The event draws thousands to Legion Field and features:

• Free Food
• Music
• Prize drawings
• Children's games and activities
• Bounce Houses
• Local performer stage
• Video trucks
• Bucket truck
• Petting zoo
• Fellowship

Approximately 4,000 people gather and celebrate the idea of #OneNewton during the last Family Fun Day, held in 2019. After three years hiatus during the pandemic, this year's event is set to be even bigger. Any organization within Newton County is invited to participate as a vendor and show off what they offer to Newton County residents. The event is sponsored by friends of Newton County and provides a free day of food, fellowship and activities for all Newton County residents.
