Charlie Sloth is one of British hip hop and grime's most authoritative figures. His legendary Fire in the Booth series has featured everyone from Danny Brown to Today show presenter John Humphreys; he's been making his mark on 1Xtra for the last four years; now he's putting out his first compilation, Hood Heat Vol 1. Released on December 8 through Naughty Boy's imprint on Virgin Records, the compilation covers both sides of the Atlantic with tracks by Andre 3000 and Future to Ghetts and Giggs.
