BAE Systems has secured a contract worth $754 million to continue the production of the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) family of vehicles (FoV) for the U.S. Army.
According to BAE, the Armored Multi-Purpose Family of Vehicles represents the U.S. Army's latest combat vehicle, providing soldiers with essential enhancements in mobility, survivability, interoperability, and power.
This agreement marks the initiation of the second phase of full-rate production of AMPVs, scheduled to run from March 2026 to February 2027.
