'SBI Won't Play The Deposit Rate Game For Growth': Chairman CS Setty Tells NDTV Profit

CS Setty the Chairman of SBI recently unveiled his three year agenda for the bank. He emphasized that SBI will not engage in the deposit rate game in order to achieve growth. Setty explained that growth is now secular and the focus will be on improving service quality. He expressed confidence in the home loan growth rate and highlighted that SBI remains one of the largest lenders for MSMEs. Setty also mentioned that SBI will prioritize customer service retention and education as well as meet the growing demand for wealth services.
