1973: EMERGENCY APPEAL for missing DALEKS | Blue Peter | Childhood Nostalgia | BBC Archive

In the summer of 1973, Blue Peter put out an appeal for information regarding two missing Daleks, brazenly shepherded away from outside Studio 8 at Television Centre in London. Peter Purves went out and about to see if the public were able to help. Thankfully, the hunt for the pair resulted in their safe return, sparing everyone from the certain doom of extermination.
