How Sedation Dentistry Works

There is an overwhelming misunderstanding of how sedation dentistry works from both patients and dental professionals. I hope that this video will bring insight to what my practice does to help patients who need and want sedation to help them through their dental care.
Sedation is an art form. We use scientific principles, theories, and facts to administer medications that help patients feel comfortable, relaxed, and anxiety-free when they are receiving their dental care. Although there are many different forms of administering sedation, I professionally feel that Intravenous (IV) sedation is the safest, most effective, and most predictable when compared to other forms of sedation. Rockstar Family Dental is unique in our sedation practice as we offer this form of sedation to our patients for general dental needs including fillings, crowns, cleanings, and surgery. In fact, less than 7% of the nations general dentists can offer IV sedation because of the intense training, certifications, and licensing that is required.
