Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on the special invitation of US President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to participate in the Gaza Peace Summit 2025, focused on achieving a permanent ceasefire and sustainable peace in Gaza.

Upon his arrival at Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was warmly received by Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt Aamir Shaukat, and senior diplomatic officials from both nations.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar.

During the Gaza Peace Summit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will participate in the signing ceremony of the Gaza Ceasefire Agreement, alongside global leaders including US President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit 2025 marks a historic diplomatic milestone towards restoring peace, stability, and humanitarian relief in the region. This visit reflects Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause, and its dedication to peace, dialogue, and diplomacy under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership.
