Loop Hero is a 2D RogueLite Strategy game by Four Quarters, where you play the guiding spirit of the hero trying to save the world. That's right, you have no Direct Control over the hero, instead, you guide them towards victory. Think placing obstacles in their path to toughen them up and train them, equipping them with found new loot, and placing places on the battlemap to boost your stats.

Note: The video starts off in the demo, but that is fine, because progress unlocked in the demo is kept going into the main game! OMG!
Such an incredible feature that I hope other games emulate.

This is a Realtime with pause strategy game, with the 'Loop' being both the path your hero will travel on their way through the Dark Fantasy, Ruined World, on their quest to restore what once was, and the Battlemap where you will place locations to 'help' your Hero.

The card game aspect are the locations cards you place on the map to 'help' your hero, as you toughen them up by having them fight battles they can win, getting them stronger and stronger to be able to handle the Dread Lich that has literally Devoured the World.

Loop Hero is an auto-battler, and I normally shy away from those, but this one may be different. And the Pixel Art Graphics and Incredible Soundtrack really nails the Dark Fantasy Vibe the game is rocking. This game drips with Style; Absolute Shivers.
