Heil Rapid Rail Greenwaste GoPro

Описание к видео Heil Rapid Rail Greenwaste GoPro

About a month ago I got back into the ex-City of Burbank Rapid Rail for a week while my truck was down having its hopper floor and packer rebuilt. The first day I drove it I traded my recycle route for the greenwaste in the same area, being that the yard I drove it out of that day processes greenwaste on site. After driving it for a week, I came to the conclusion that the only thing that seriously sucks about these trucks is the Heil system, in regards to everything being run through a PLC and the weird electric valves leading to rather jerky and unresponsive arm and packer functions. Otherwise, the packer keeps up with material far better than my New Way does thanks to the deep hopper and no wasted packer movement. Despite the arm being asymmetrical when compared to a side-of-body-mounted arm, it's engineered in a way that allows for very minimal interference with obstacles around the cart like something like a Python or a Scorpion would. The rounded hopper gives the driver insane visibility out the back window of the cab, basically to the point that driving one of these trucks without any cameras isn't a big deal. The tare on this truck was like 30700 too, very impressive. All of my coworkers have basically deemed this truck impossible to drive thanks to their irrational aversion to rocker switches, but it's turned into my go-to spare.
