Come along with us as we rebuild a vintage Surge Vacuum Pump designed for milking machines. The patented date cast into the pump is 1930, but based on the serial number, our best guess is this particular pump dates from the mid-1940s. Watch us as we replace the electric motor, hoses, belts, and set up an new stallcock, vacuum gauge, and regulator. We take a look inside the pump itself, clean out the sludge and clean the muffler. We add new oil and then test run it with a vintage Surge belly milker.
