Lyrics:
-----------------------
[Hook: Merrimac]
The Sirens call,
I hear them all,
back against the wall,
liberty and justice for all?
Nah,
know that that’s just a façade,
they wanna cross some Gods,
you can’t reach me with those arms
you better be boxing long...
[Verse 1: Merrimac]
Emerge from the shell I was born in,
shed scorn from dark hells I transformed in
weathered the treachery and the meddling,
now I tell the truths bout lie peddling,
turn down the levels we got them all trembling,
Voltron assembled to bring the hiders to questioning
Thunderous sound is menacing and deafening,
the kick hits you like my boot when you cross me,
Bring your ass to your reckoning,
Ego depleted and eroded,
they once said negro
but now they sugar coat it,
stepping on the cracks
on the wrong side of the track
and now I’m falling through them too,
I wanna bring it back but
my death was overdue,
I wanna bring it back but
my death was overdue, yeah
I wanna be in black
but I gotta watch the blue
[Bridge: The Yolk]
Patience is the only way to go
had to find time trying to find a flow
If they say something good
then you should all know
that you are the flow,
yes you are the GOAT
yes you are your woes
and the scars that you've shown
And you are so grown
so just be alone
and vibe with the tone
of my energy zone
I promise, I swear
she's my energy clone.
[Verse 2: The Yolk]
Uh,
Is it the truth or am I aloof?
Is it the truth or am I aloof?
a text a reply,
it must be the proof
but shit seem so boofe
when your mind in a shoot
flying and shit like a cap through the roof
I need to come down I'm feeling hella juiced
Feeling hella geeked
and my body feeling weak
My mind was asleep
I was surrounded by sheep
too afraid to take pics
so I hid in the sheets
[Verse 2: Merrimac]
(hid in the sheets),
but underneath?
Nothin of which I could speak,
nothing in there that would help me to sleep
nothing I've said so far has been that deep
because inside of me is a soul that don't sleep.
[Hook: Merrimac]
The Sirens call,
I hear them all,
back against the wall,
liberty and justice for all?
Nah,
know that that’s just a façade,
they wanna cross some Gods,
you can’t reach me with those arms
you better be boxing long...
[Verse 3: Lil B; Ad Libs: Merrimac]
Can't see me on the level that you on
(thank you Based God!)
you never could reach me with those arms
Lil B's with my friend
(merrimac!)
never so long
(never so long)
I never say so long
ever in a song
So fuck it,
money and the war now
(and the war now)
So much power
treasure in the chest
who gon bar now?
(who gon bar now?)
What's on your mind
who do you thank?
Where you going now?
(where you going now?)
They tryna catch the beat
might as well
try to catch me
(try to catch Lil B!)
Sacrificed so much
I done gave up so much (so much)
for the last blunt
(for the last blunt, yeah you know what)
I just keep smoking
(keep on smoking)
leave em wide open
with they eyes open
(eyes open too ... b!tch)
The last thing I did...
laid em down, and put they ass to sleep.

Indexing/tags story, ignore unless bored:
Thank you based god, aka Lil B, for your rap verse contribution to this experimental song on a JPEGMAFIA type beat featuring myself, Merrimac, and the Inglewood Rapper, my homie, The Yolk. I used a sample from Tik Tok (I think) to make this beat a long time ago, and got a verse from my homie the Yolk just before the pandemic and lastly from Lil B just before release. Overall this album is a lofi, experimental, underground hiphop/rap album made for my black people all over CA. This could be considered an Earl Sweatshirt or Mac Miller type beat, or also a Danny Brown type beat, or also an XXXTentacion type beat, or a dark, moody, ambient rap type beat. Social media sucks. Like and follow for more content. TYBG!
