BMW E39 SIRIUS XM, AUX Input, BM53 Radio Retrofit DIY

Objective: I am adding Auxiliary Input and SIRIUS XM Radio to my 02/2000 BMW E39 M5. This install requires ALL of the following hardware, plus the MKIV Navigation computer if you have not upgraded, and the 16:9 navigation display. An installation video for those upgrades can be found here:

AUXILIARY INPUT INFORMATION:

You will need to move the three pins that came in the aux input cable (82110149390) to the adapter harness for the new radio (61126924785). Pins 3, 4, and 10 need to be moved. This process is simple if you take your time and be careful. Nothing to worry about!

PIN 3: Red/White LEFT CHANNEL AUDIO
PIN 4: Blue/White RIGHT CHANNEL AUDIO
PIN 10: Brown/White GROUND
